General rental conditions

By making a booking with Lucas Rent a Car, the customer accepts the following general terms and conditions.

Driver requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years (surcharge for drivers aged 21 to 25)
• Valid driving licence held for at least 1 year
• Valid ID card or passport
• Credit card in the name of the main driver

Insurance and deposit

All vehicles include fully comprehensive insurance with no excess. A deposit is required and will be refunded at the end of the rental, subject to vehicle inspection.

Cancellations

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up date. Later cancellations may be subject to a charge.

Fuel

The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise, a refuelling charge will apply.

Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
