General rental conditions

By making a booking with Lucas Rent a Car, the customer accepts the following general terms and conditions.

Driver requirements

• Minimum age: 21 for Group A, 24 for other groups
• Valid driving licence: 2 years minimum (Group A) or 4 years (other groups)
• Valid ID card or passport
• Credit card in the name of the main driver

Insurance and deposit

Basic third-party liability insurance is included on all rentals. Optional SCDW at €8/day removes the excess. A deposit is held via credit card pre-authorisation and refunded after vehicle inspection.

Cancellations

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up date. Later cancellations may be subject to a charge.

Fuel

The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise, a refuelling charge will apply.

Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
