Do you deliver the car to my hotel in Playa del Inglés?
Yes, hotel delivery and pickup is free if you're staying in Playa del Inglés (covered zone). An agent comes at the agreed time with the keys. A €30 fee applies for out-of-hours pickups.
What are the Yumbo office opening hours?
Our Yumbo Centrum office keeps extended commercial hours. For out-of-hours pickups, call us on +34 639 571 957 and we will arrange it. A €30 fee applies for out-of-hours collection.
Can I return the car at Gran Canaria Airport at the end of my trip?
Yes. We offer a one-way option from Playa del Inglés (or your hotel) to LPA airport with a low fee shown at search before you confirm. Perfect if you rent in the resort area and fly home from LPA.
Is a deposit or credit card required?
At pickup we place a security hold on the main driver's credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex). The amount depends on the vehicle group and is fully released when the car is returned without issues. Nothing is charged when you book online.
What is the minimum age and which licence do I need?
Minimum age is 21 with 2 years of driving licence for Group A (Toyota Aygo). For all other groups the minimum age is 24 with 4 years of driving licence. We accept EU, UK, Swiss and Norwegian licences, plus international permits under the Vienna Convention.
Where can I park in Playa del Inglés?
Playa del Inglés has large free public car parks near the seafront promenade and around the Yumbo and Kasbah centres. The Maspalomas Lighthouse car park is also free and just 10 minutes' drive away. The dunes and Charca lagoon have free parking areas too. Avoid parking in Sonnenland residential streets without permission from the complex.
