Our closest office to the capital is at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), 18 km south via the GC-1 (15–20 minutes by car). We hand over your vehicle there and you have the car free for the entire rental period — city or island.
How do I get from the airport to Las Palmas city by car?
Leaving the airport take the GC-1 motorway northbound towards Las Palmas. You'll reach the city centre in 15–20 minutes. The whole GC-1 is a free, well-signposted motorway with several exits (Vegueta, Triana, Port, Las Canteras).
Is it worth having a car if I'm staying in Las Palmas city?
Depends on your plan. For the city centre and Las Canteras only, it's not essential. But if you plan to visit the south (Maspalomas, Mogán), the interior (Roque Nublo, Tejeda) or northern villages (Agaete, Gáldar), a car saves hours and gives full freedom.
